Hourly (“the app”) is an envelope budgeting tool. This policy describes how information is handled when you use the app. We design Hourly so your budget data stays under your control and is not sold to advertisers.
When you use Hourly, you may enter or generate information such as:
This information is used to provide core app functionality: showing your budget, syncing where enabled, and delivering optional reminders.
When you are signed in to iCloud, Hourly may sync your data using Apple’s CloudKit and related Apple services so your information can stay up to date across your devices. That sync uses Apple’s private database tied to your Apple ID; we do not operate our own servers for routine budget storage.
Apple’s handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple’s policies and your device settings. You can learn more in Apple’s privacy materials and iCloud settings on your device.
If you enable notifications, the system may show reminders based on schedules you choose (such as daily or weekly prompts). Notification content may reference your optional display name where the app is designed to do so. You can turn notifications off or adjust permissions in iOS Settings.
Hourly is not an ad-supported app in the typical sense: we do not sell your budget data, and we do not embed third-party advertising SDKs that track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising.
Apple may provide developers with aggregated or diagnostic information related to app distribution (for example crash reports or general usage statistics through App Store / TestFlight tools), subject to Apple’s terms and your settings.
If you contact us by email (for example at hourlyapp.support@gmail.com), we receive whatever information you choose to include in your message. Use email only for support and feedback; do not send unnecessary sensitive information.
Your budget data remains on your devices and, when iCloud is enabled, in your iCloud account according to Apple’s systems. You can delete data inside the app where those features exist, remove the app from your device, or manage iCloud data through Apple’s settings and documentation.
Hourly is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). If you believe we have inadvertently received information from a child, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
We rely on Apple’s platform security and your device protections (passcode, Face ID, Apple ID security). No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure; use Hourly consistent with your personal risk tolerance.
If you use iCloud, your data may be processed by Apple in accordance with Apple’s infrastructure and your account region. By using the app, you understand that processing may occur in various countries where Apple or its service providers operate.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
